| The picture gives a close view of the monument to Prince Vladimir on the slopes of the Vladimir Hill. Prince Vladimir has a cross in his hand. His face is full of inspiration as he looks towards the Dnieper where nearly ten centuries ago Kiev inhabitants were baptized. The eastern side of the pedestal is decorated with a bas-relief showing the scene of baptizing and the ancient coat of arms of Kiev. |
